NYFW: Deola Sagoe Spring/Summer '15 Collection Showcase.

The Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week has been going on since Monday this week, the world's best fashion designers are showcasing their Spring/Summer 2015 pieces, and Nigeria's own Deola Sagoe has been right in the thick.
The Deola Sagoe Spring/Summer 2015 collection is a paradise of flattering silhouettes, sheer paneling and unexpected detailing, all with a sleek feel to it (nothing i hate more than a collection lacking cohesiveness and sleekness).

AMFW 2012 Runway: Mai Atafo

Clean, extravagant and flattering cuts are the signature of Mai Atafo designs, and this colletion definitely represented that, but with bolder strokes of colors and  patterns. Love it.

Arise Magazine Fashion Week 2012: Fashion Awards winners

After the whirlwind of fashion shows, stunning collections, beauty, celebrity, and buzz, which was the Arise Magazine Fashion Week 2012, the highly anticipated Fashion Awards crowned the whole event. The Awards saw various fashion and style personalities get recognition for their presence and contribution to Africa's fashion industry. Also, Five designers got the life-changing opportunity to attend and showcase their collections during the ARISE Show at the Spring/Summer Mercedes Benz Fashion Week holding in New York this September.

So, this year i'm able to attend the on-going Arise Magazine Fashion Week 2012 holding here in Lagos Nigeria (Thanks to the organizers for giving me the opportunity). Unfortunately, somethings went wrong and the runway shows had to start properly on Thursday 8th March instead of the pre-scheduled Wednesday 7th March, but there was still a good crowd of stylish people at the venue and i took some pictures-

The very prestigious fashion event of them all is here again! Arise Magazine Fashion Week 2012 is here, and Lagos is where it's all going down. 50 great designers from around Africa and beyond will be showing their best, and it's going to be great. The show will be crowned at the end with the Arise Magazine Fashion Awards.
Date: Tuesday 6th - Sunday 11th March, 2011.

Event: BETH Model Africa's Martini Male Model Search 2011 Finale.

Top African model management company Beth Model Management Africa, in conjunction with Martini is set to hold the first ever male model search here in Nigeria, on Thursday the 15th of December, 2011, at the Radisson Blu hotel,Ozumba Mbadiwe, Victoria Island, Lagos.
This innovation follows the high-rating success of the annual Elite Model Look. Extensive work has gone into this search to get the best of the best, and here are the finalists:
