The CookieSkin 2nd 'Beauty Is Confident' Campaign: See the New Promo Pics Starring 4 Beauty Queens + CEO Leslie Okoye.

The CookieSkin® campaign, #BeautyIsConfidence grew from Leslie Okoye’s desire to not only to redefine the meaning of beauty among women of color but to strengthen the confidence and self-esteem of African women globally. 

The 1st campaign was released earlier this year starring Nollywood actress Funke Akindele, media personality Ama K. Abebrese and Ex-beauty queen Sylvia Nduka, alongside Cookie Skin founder and skin care expert Leslie Okoye (Click here to watch the video) .

The 2nd campaign stars 4 former beauty queens;  Powede Lawrence, Ezinne Akudo, Chinyere Chichi Adogu and Vivian Udemba, with the message that the modern day definition of beauty should not be based on unattainable standards or media trends.

The 25th annual Glamour Women of The Year Awards held yesterday in Hollywood, where select influential personalities and celebrities were honored for inspiring women through the year.
The honorees for 2015 include Actress Reese Witherspoon, Principal ballet dancer Misty Copeland, The U.S Female Soccer team, Caitlyn Jenner, and many others.

The machine that is Rihanna is about to hit us with a brand new fragrance to be called 'RiRi by Rihanna' and We. Cant. Wait!
She announced the new addition to her impressive and highly-successful fragrance range via Instagram, and also debuted the 1st campaign photo for the fragrance, where she posed in a pink-va-va-voom-barbie-themed dress, voluminous hair, pretty blushing-pink makeup and pearls.
The 'RiRi by Rihanna fragrance joins the other successful ones from the star including Rogue Love, Rogue man, Rouge and 777 Nude by Rihanna Diamonds.

Now, just start gathering your pennies because 'Riri' is coming for them! Again.

Kendall Jenner, the fast-rising model and Keeping Up With The Kardashian star features in a brand-new campaign for Estee Lauder's new fragrance, the Modern Muse Le Rouge.
New photos for the campaign show Kendall in a rose garden, posing in a smooth red suit we all wish we had in our closets (along with less boobs. Yes, boobs are the enemy of style).
 
This is the first we have seen of Kendall modelling for the brand since she was unveiled as the new ambassador some months back, and she looks gorgeous!

• Yippee! Women of the world, get ready for a brand new beauty line from top high-street fashion brand H&M, as they get set to launch their very first full beauty range. The line will have over 700 products including face primers and powders, lip colors and nail polishes. See some of the photos-

• High-fashion meets high-street. Balmain X H&M collaboration line is coming to stores this November, Balmain front man Olivier Rousteing announced at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards last week. Kiss your coins goodbye because the clothes will sure be winners, if what we saw on Olivier himself, Kendall Jenner and Jourdan Dunn at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards is anything to go by. The collab line will include menswear, womenswear, accessories and shoes.

• Nollywood A-lister and super-mom Omotola Jalade Ekeinde along with one of her daughters Meraiah have just been announced as brand ambassadors for Unilever Nigeria's food seasoning brand Knorr. 

The movie star and her daughter, joined by celebrity cooking sensation Chef Fregz, were unveiled as the brand's faces at a recent event organised by the company.

The awards season in Hollywood have officially kicked off, and the second major one The Golden Globes for 2015 held last Sunday, and you know the drill, we were looking out for our fave celebs and their fashion.
Let's go straight into it-

J.Lo is a queen in this nude, embellished Zuhair Murad gown. I'm not crazy about the hair, but this is J.Lo, so, i'll take it.

Salma Hayek in Alexander McQueen. Love it. She should have just done away with the hair flower.

Kate Hudson in white Versace with embellished cutouts. pow! BEST DRESSED.

Reese Witherspoon in metallic Calvin Klein.

Amy Adams in Versace. What a gorgeous color!

Diane Kruger in Emilia Wickstead. This icy structured number is genius. I'm in love.

Legendary Fashion Designer Oscar De La renta Dies At Age 82. See His Life & Works In Fashion.

The fashion world has lost one of it's great icons and talents Oscar De La renta, who passed away yesterday in his home in Connecticut, U.S.A, his family says. He was 82 years old.
The Dominican Republic-born designer through-out his life worked with some other legendary designers like Balenciaga and Lanvin before starting his own label in 1965 and later rising to fashion fame in the U.S. for dressing the very popular former FLOTUS Jacqueline Kennedy.
Since then, celebrities and women of style from various walks of life have worn the regal, show-stopping master-pieces that is Mr. De La renta's creations.
He was diagnosed with cancer some years ago, but the official cause-of-death is yet to be stated.
His family released a statement saying-
        "While our hearts are broken by the idea of life without Oscar, he's still very much with us. Oscar's hard work, his intelligence and his love of life are at the heart of our company. We will make Oscar very proud of us by continuing in an even stronger way the work that Oscar loved so much"
